We were joined by Jonas Kyllönen, Chief Marketing Officer at Mr Gamble, to find out where it all began and what treats we can expect on stream in the very near future.
What’s your background, and what made you start Mr Gamble?
I began my career in online marketing more than a decade ago working in various fields, but a few years ago, I became more involved in the online casino industry. I’ve always been interested in online gambling, so in 2019 when my business partner proposed that we launch a slot channel and build a comparison website to help players find the best casinos and bonuses, I jumped at the chance immediately! I’m hugely proud of what we’ve achieved in just a couple of years, building a successful brand from the ground up, helping to connect players to new and iconic games, and providing a wealth of information for newbie players and the more experienced alike.
Casino streaming has really taken off over the last few years. Why do you think it holds such an appeal with slot players?
Different players have different tastes in games, from unique themes and features, to how and where they choose to play. With so many games and casinos out there to choose from, they want to know they can access the most trustworthy and quality gaming experiences around. As with any product, word of mouth is hugely important to slot players in helping them find exactly what they’re looking for, which is why I believe casino streaming has grown in popularity. Streamers have become personalities in their own right, building trust amongst their audience and delivering both entertaining and informative content. Personally, I never could have dreamed that we would develop an audience of over 23K followers across multiple platforms and markets for Mr Gamble, and I’m proud to say we now stream at least six days every week.
What are you most looking forward to when it comes to showcasing Gameburger content on Mr Gamble?
Gameburger has really made a name for itself over the last couple of years with a host of engaging games packed with enjoyable bonus features, as well as amped up sounds and great graphics. I’m really excited to sink my teeth into the high-action 9 Masks of Fire live on our stream, as well as take another bite out of the classic Break da Bank Again, but with a Megaways™ twist.
